Apple Crisp

Nothing says fall quite like the smell of warm, homemade Apple Crisp fresh out of the oven. Making this annual treat for my family is our official sign that the season is changing. This is the ultimate comfort food, though you may have to fight your family for the best part: the irresistable crumble topping! (Seriously, watch out for teenagers dishing up their own plates—they will steal extra topping!)
This delicious and uncomplicated dish is so loved that our daughter recently requested the recipe to make in her college dorm oven. It’s the perfect treat for sharing, though I warned her to get ready for a crowd of hungry college friends as soon as that warm apple aroma hits the hallway!
